Studying architecture has always been a dream of mine enlisted into me through my own observations and guidance from m family and school. I have always excelled in drawing and math's so I already have the fundamentals to enroll on the architecture course at Manchester school of architecture. Manchester truly is my number one choice as its a great university and somewhat local to me which is beneficial for a several like being able to see family more often. I find architecture fascinating and connect with it on a passionate level, I was told stories growing up about my grandfathers house in Greece what they built themselves and over time how it deteriorated. ever since I can remember this inspired me to want to go into the design/ construction of buildings and houses which is why overall, I would love to study architecture at Manchester school of architecture and make myself and my family proud.

a building that I have visited recently is the museum of Liverpool. this striking building was designed by architect Kim Herforth Nielsen and was built to house special artifacts throughout the years. The structure inside and out was a very important process. the architect himself said "the structure functions as much much more than just a building or museum". the building will be seen b many local people as well as tourists so it was nessacary that the outside of the building portrayed a good image. the building itself is very modern which is a contrast to the idea of it being a museum. I believe this was done to attract the younger generation to visit the museum therefore teaching them about the history of Liverpool and also making more money.  The building also includes many interior design choices to help the building flow better and also to make it seem more modern. massive spiraling, white staircases cascade from level to level, making the inside seem foreign like the white Greek architecture.

My favorite architect is frank Lloyd right. he is a very famous American architect, designer and educator. He designed more than 1000 structures over his time as an architect but was most well known for his beautiful residential builds. My favorite thing about rights designs are the fact that his visionary creations were strongly influenced by the natural world, and he emphasized this through craftsmanship and his chosen materials in his structures.

A piece of architecture that i would love to visit is the ancient theater at the Asclepieion of Epidaurus. this beautiful stadium is in my grandfathers home country and extends for hundreds of meters. along side this i would like the visit other great buildings found in Greece particular Athens as that's were my grand father is actually from. i would like to visit them with him.
